Its is a Vehicle Technical Inspection (ITV) in vehicles
of international road transport in Mercosul, according to
Normative Instruction n. 12 of the Brazilian Federal Traffic
Police. Cargo and passenger vehicles transit in Mercosul
are subject to the fiscalization for the countries members
as for the approval of the vehicle in inspection of transport
safety in the molds of the Resolution Mercosul 75/97. Accredited
to accomplish ITV-Mercosul for the Official Paper 19/2002
of October 21, 2002 (published in D.O.U. in 24/10/2002,
of the Department of Federal Traffic police, Transtech is
capable to assist groups of vehicles of any load. The integral

INSPECTION
The
inspection verify the main systems of the vehicle in agreement
with the Attached I of the Instruction Normative N. 12 of
DPRF, being used automated equipments and computerized to
certify, without disassemble of components, the conditions
of safety of the vehicle. In case they are found defects,
a detailed report is emitted for the customer detailing
the non conformities. In this case, if the vehicle returns
for reverse-inspection in up to fifteen days, there won't
be increment cost. When approved, the vehicle receives a
Certificate of Technical Inspection -CITV and a stamp fastened
in the windshield, SAIV-Stamp of Approval in the Technical
Inspection to Transmit. The validity of CITV and of SAIV
it is of one year the starting from the date of his/her
emission. It is important to explain that Transtech doesn't
execute any kind of maintenance or repair, nor it allows
them to be executed in their facilities.
GENERAL
CONDITIONS FOR INSPECTION
The
vehicle should be presented for the inspection complete,
clean and without load. Please consult us about inspection
loaded vehicles. It is necessary the presentation of the
following documents to begin the inspection process:
- document
of the Vehicles (of the truck and of the semi-towing,
if it is the case);

Identity and CPF of the driver that he/she comes to bring
them for the inspection.
The
schedule of service of Transtech is the following:
- From
8:00 am to 6:00 pm (without lunch interval), Monday to
Friday.
- It
is not necessary to mark hour, however for more than a
vehicle is possible previous scheduling through the telephone

- The
inspection lasts on average little more than 60 minutes.
PRICES
The
prices of the inspection for vehicle-group of vehicles,
Truck Tractor more Semi-towing, two vehicles are considered-for
cash payment practiced by Transtech are the following ones
1 - inspection: R$ 220,00
2 – 2nd-inspection until 15 days after the inspection: Free
3 – 2nd-inspection after 15 days and until 30 days of the
inspection: R$ 70,00
4 – 2nd-inspection after 30 days of the inspection: R$ 220,00
5 - 2nd print of CITV: R$ 20,00

CLUES
FOR REVISION OF THE VEHICLE BEFORE THE INSPECTION
A
revision of the vehicles is recommended before the inspection
to reduce the disapproval possibility. Among the inspected
items, special attention is recommended to the following
ones, that you/they generate the most frequent no-conformities
found in the inspections:
- To
revise and to regulate brakes (the vehicles are tested
in brake dynamometer that evaluates the brake capacity
for axles and among the sides of a same axles - this is
the item that more it reproves);
- To
eliminate leaks of air in the brake circuit (brake cameras,
hoses, valves, hand-of-friend, etc);
- To
verify rest in the arms of the direction system and in
the stability bars;
- To
verify fixation of the 5a-wheel;

To verify operation of the whole illumination system;
- To
verify rests in the system of arms tensors (scouring pads)
and of the rocker arm and the existence of trines in the
support of the suspension and support of springs. Squeeze
of the staples of springs;

To verify existence of sheets of broken springs / untidy;
- King-pin
cannot be worn-out / with trines, nor filled with welding;
- To
verify fixation of the jumbles in the chassis (front suspension)
and rest in the pin;
- To
verify elements of fixation of wheels lacking / broken
chestnuts;
- To
verify the existence of trines in the brake drums / wheels
and rings;
- To
verify tuning of the pump injector (emission of smoke);
- To
verify obligatory items. Load and validity of the extinguisher.
Seatbelts. Protection in the battery. Diesel leaks.
